I don't believe there is much risk of low blood sugar with it (there was some research a while back), but after adjusting dietarily, you may be able to reduce or stop your dosages eventually. I know weight gain is possible in ketosis because it happened to me and I know weight loss is obviously possible out of ketosis, so if the Metformin is helping you there even with the lower levels of ketones, I guess the ketones wouldn't be too much of a concern.
